Financial Wellbeing Workshops

At Amica, we are passionate about increasing financial literacy, especially among young people and women.

Women are much less likely to take financial advice*, for a variety of reasons and, not surprisingly, they are much less likely to have a secure retirement**.

On a positive note, more women are now in the workforce than ever before, and, because they live longer, more wealth is being transferred into their hands. However, they may be as comfortable dealing with pensions, investments and taking advice if they weren't included in these discussions. By 2030, women will control around 60% of UK wealth and being confident and informed, this can be positive, rather than a burden1.

That’s why Amica provide no-obligation in-house and online workshops to inform as many people as possible of the key steps they can take to securing a more prosperous future.

Because we really do believe that knowledge is power, and we are committed to spreading that knowledge further.

By contrast only 27% of men went to family for financial advice, compared with 35% using money advice websites and 30% seeking professional financial advice.
